Nothing has changed on Deshaun Watson’s end.
On Thursday, Dan Graziano reported that the disgruntled QB met with the Texans new head coach and reiterated his desire to be traded and told Culley has no intention of ever playing for the Texans again.
Both the Texans and Watson remain steadfast in their respective stances, with Watson wanting out and the Texans stating multiple times that they will not trade him.
The Texans signed Watson to a four-year deal worth as much as $177 million heading into the 2020 season, paying him $39 million a year.
The 25-year-old is coming off a 2020 season where he threw for 4,823 yards with 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
