It looks like one of the NFL’s all-time great home run threats is calling it a career.
On his Instagram account, free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson posted a photo of himself with the Baltimore Ravens from last season with the caption, “Did it my way 15 years strong!! Neva anotha like it! #0ne0fone.”
This post definitely indicates that Jackson is calling it quits after a superb 15-year career. If that’s the case, the three-time Pro Bowler walks away with 641 receptions for 11,263 yards and 58 touchdowns.
The 36-year-old Jackson (he turns 37 in December) had bounced around the league over the last four seasons. After two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2017 to 2018), Jackson was traded to his old team in the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019. Injuries limited him to just eight total games over two seasons there, and he wound up joining the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.

Jackson played seven games with Sean McVay’s squad before requesting (and receiving) his release, having grown unhappy with his role in the offense. He suited up for nine games with the Las Vegas Raiders and helped them end a six-year playoff drought.
Jackson had his spent seasons in his first stint with the Eagles (2008 to 2013) and Washington (2014 to 2016). Over that period, he put up five 1,000-yard seasons while leading the league in yards per catch on three occasions.
