It’s no secret DeSean Jackson isn’t a fan of Chip Kelly and he makes it known any chance his name comes up.
The former Eagles wide receiver recently revealed that he has zero respect for his former head coach, saying he believes Kelly broke up a potential Super Bowl champion to please his ego.
“I don’t respect Chip Kelly. What he did, you can ask any Eagles fan ever, They’ll tell you the same thing,”
Jackson said. “He dismantled our team. There’s no way you get rid of DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Mike Vick, and Jeremy Maclin. We were Philadelphia.”
Jackson only spent one season under Kelly before they decided to release him. At the time, they said it wasn’t his production, but his attitude and demeanor, and they did not view him as a good fit in the culture that coach Chip Kelly wanted to build.
There is no way to prove that the Eagles would have won a Super Bowl if Kelly hadn’t made those moves, but the team never came close to winning it all after those moves were made.

In his only season with Kelly at the helm, Jackson had 82 receptions for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns.
Jackson was always critical of Kelly, who is now the head coach at UCLA. Kelly has never again reached the same heights he once achieved at Oregon.
