Derrius Guice Clarifies Tweet After Strange Reaction To Redskins Drafting RB Bryce Love (TWEETS)

Derrius Guice was hoping to make a huge impact during his rookie year, but suffered a major setback after suffering a torn ACL that ended his season before it even began in 2018.

He is widely expected to be the #1 back in Washington, or at least everybody thought he would.

In the 4th round, the Redskins selected former Heisman runner-up & Stanford running back Bryce Love on Saturday.

It was reported last year that Guice had his injured knee get infected and required an additional three surgeries after his initial ACL repair surgery in August didn’t go as planned. The complications are now behind him and his recovery is said to be back on the correct path.
