The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and it looks like teams are haggling already. A few trades have already occurred before the Oct. 31 deadline, notably the Eagles’ acquisition of star safety Kevin Byard from the Titans.
The Titans may prove to be a very busy team amid a bad year.
After the Titans were willing to deal away Kevin Byard, it seems like every player on the roster is on the table to be traded, which includes star running back Derrick Henry.
The team is in dead last in the AFC North with a 2-4 record and seems headed for a total rebuild in the coming seasons. That means all assets are likely gone as they try and get better through the draft.
A new rumor floating around says the Titans have already been contacted by several teams. Those teams mentioned are the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, and Cleveland Browns.
The Baltimore Ravens have emerged as a potential favorite to land Henry, given the loss of lead-back J.K. Dobbins to a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1.

The last three times Dallas has faced San Francisco, they have lost and their run game has been terrible. Having a player like Henry could change that.
The Browns lost Nick Chubb to a season-ending injury and are still dealing with injuries with their other running backs.
Henry has been a staple in the Titans organization since it selected the Heisman Trophy winner out of Alabama in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Given the Titans’ struggles this season at the bottom of the AFC South with a 2-4 record, it appears that Tennessee is willing to be an active participant in maneuvering trade deals at the deadline.
