There appears to be a new front-runner to land Tennessee Titans superstar running back Derrick Henry as next week’s Oct. 31 trade deadline draws closer.
BetOnline published its latest betting odds on Henry’s next team if the Titans end up trading the two-time rushing champion. Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills, long mentioned as a potential landing spot for Henry, are the favorites at +200.
The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have the second-best odds at +300, followed by the Miami Dolphins at +400. Another Super Bowl hopeful, the Dallas Cowboys, have the fourth-best odds at +600, with the Pittsburgh Steelers behind them at +800.
Buffalo’s lead running back, James Cook, is on pace for over 1,000 yards rushing (419 yards and a touchdown in seven games). But adding the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year to the Cook-Allen-led ground game would make Buffalo’s offense that much tougher to stop.
Henry is in the final year of his contract and will turn 30 in January. With the Titans 2-4 and looking nothing like a playoff contender, it only makes sense for GM Ran Carthon to trade his top offensive player.

Amid a frustrating year for the Titans, Henry is having another excellent season with 425 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Coming off their Week 7 bye, the Titans will try to end a two-game losing skid when they host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
