The Tennessee Titans are rumored to have been contacted by a top AFC contender over a potential trade for star running back Derrick Henry.
The Titans are keen on moving Henry ahead of the trade deadline but earlier reports claimed he hadn’t attracted any suitors, though a few of their other players were garnering attention.
According to self-proclaimed insider CJ Golson, the Buffalo Bills are looking to acquire Henry and are in serious talks with Tennessee, with the Titans keen on a day-two draft pick in exchange.
The Bills could use some help in their offense after falling below expectations this season. While they are 4-3 and are second in the AFC East, they are playing well below standard and are coming off a loss to a divisional rival in the New England Patriots that had only managed a single win before they met last week.
A move for a player of Henry’s ilk would likely turn out to be massive, though the RB isn’t the player he used to be.
While James Cook is having a breakout year, averaging 4.8 yards per carry, the Bills have a lack of depth in the position as Damien Harris is injured.

They would do well to add an additional receiver too. But acquiring Henry could be huge for a team looking to capitalize on their window with the likes of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.
