Derek Carr appears to be done with the Las Vegas Raiders too, having unfollowed the team on all of his social media accounts.
The team signaled their intention to move on from the nine-year quarterback when they announced he will be benched for the rest of the season. Now it seems like Carr is also ready for the relationship to come to an end.
Carr Is No Longer Following Vegas On IG And Twitter
Carr has asked to be away from the team while he sits out so he won’t be a distraction, but he’s taken it a step further, cutting ties on social media ahead of what certainly appears to be an inevitable trade.
The Raiders are reported to be gearing up for a trade and have benched Carr in order to preserve his body for just that reason. It’s also been claimed that they are of the view that his value will spike after the Super Bowl in February.
The younger QB Jarrett Stidham will be starting for Vegas moving forward. And fans will just have to wait and see how the experiment turns out.
Wide receiver Davante Adams doesn’t appear to want to be part of this particular test and has been pretty vocal over the team’s treatment of Carr. Adams has made no secret of only joining the Raiders so he could play with the former Fresno State signal caller. So it’s likely he ends up leaving too.
