The Oakland Raiders game against the Tennessee Titans started promising as they opened up the scoring after an interception of Ryan Tannehill.
It went downhill after that.
Oakland found themselves down 42-21 late in the fourth quarter when quarterback Derek Carr essentially gave up on a play and threw it out of bounds.
It was 4th down.
The way he threw it away seemed to suggest he likely didn’t even know it was 4th down, and that’s on him and coaching.
The worst that can happen is a turnover, which was the actual end result anyway.
