NFL Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About Derek Carr & Jameis Winston During Thursday Night Football

Football fans were in full agreement on one thing during the New Orleans Saints-Jacksonville Jaguars game on Thursday night: That Saints quarterback Derek Carr needs to be benched in favor of backup Jameis Winston.

Carr and the New Orleans offense has been sluggish all night long. Despite forcing two Jaguars’ turnovers in the first quarter, the Saints failed to muster a single touchdown. With Carr struggling, fans on X called for Winston to take over the offense:

Carr’s frustrating play hit a new low in the third quarter when he threw a pick-six on a low percentage pass to Jacksonville linebacker Foyesade Oluokun. Barring a lucky fourth quarter comeback, New Orleans will fall below .500 for the first time this season.
