Terrible news for the New Orleans Saints, as their bid for a late comeback against the Detroit Lions just got that much harder with their quarterback now likely out for the game.
Trailing 33-21 in the fourth quarter, Derek Carr dumped a pass off to Alvin Kamara and took a brutal hit from the Lions’ Bruce Irvin in the process.
Carr was replaced by Jameis Winston.
The 32-year-old veteran has experienced quite a few injuries this season. Let’s hope his latest isn’t too serious.
