Is Derek Carr headed to the NFC?
We learned this week that the veteran QB is heading to New Orleans to meet with the Saints.
Derek Carr’s brother, Darren, has social media going crazy when he took to Twitter and posted him in a photoshopped Saints uniform. He posted it with the caption: “Life’s a movie.”
According to sources close to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Raiders might unload Carr for a third-round pick.
Carr would have to agree to any trade, thus waiving his no-trade clause. If he further wants to make this potential deal work, Carr would have to work with the Saints on his contract as they are around $60 million OVER the cap as of now.

Meanwhile for the Raiders, getting something is better than nothing which is what they’d be looking at should they have no choice but to cut him from the roster. They are quickly running out of time.
Carr threw for 3522 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while completing 60.8 percent of his passing attempts last season. He would be benched for the final two games of the year.
