The Philadelphia Eagles are apparently not done dealing yet following their acquisition of Kevin Byard from the Tennessee Titans this week.
Philly’s made what many consider to be a game-changing move in securing a trade for the All-Pro safety, and folks know exactly what they will be getting from him. But GM Howie Roseman is reportedly still looking to make moves before the October 31 trade deadline.
That is according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, who is reporting that the Eagles have made edge rusher Derek Barnett available.
“My understanding is the Eagles are open to deal edge rusher Derek Barnett, who could be a decent addition to someone’s defensive end rotation,” Breer wrote in a piece on the trade talk around the league.
Barnett has been with the Eagles since they drafted him as the 14th overall pick in 2017. He helped the franchise win their first Super Bowl the following year.
Meanwhile, Breer also noted that Roseman could possibly go for Denver Broncos wide receiver Patrick Surtain II, though the Eagles added Julio Jones earlier this month.
