Denver Broncos lost a wideout to injury on Monday, according to sources from the team’s minicamp.
Per multiple reports, third-year WR Tyrie Cleveland was carted off the field with an injury that appeared to be to his knee. The unfortunate injury came after making a catch on the final play of minicamp.
A former seventh-round pick out of Florida in the 2020 NFL Draft, Cleveland is a reserve pass-catcher for the Broncos with six career receptions for 63 yards.
Cleveland did not register a catch during the 2021 campaign.
As a college wideout with the Gators for four years, Cleveland finished with 79 catches for 1,271 yards and eight touchdowns. His biggest year came as a sophomore in 2017, when he tallied 22 catches for 410 yards and two touchdowns.
