One of the more disappointing teams in recent memory, the Broncos have now lost four in a row. It feels as if major changes are on the way to try and salvage this season.
Denver is in turmoil following a 2-5 start and has very little draft capital following the trade for Russell Wilson. The team is bad on offense and not much they can do with so much of their cap going to Wilson.
After the Denver Broncos’ loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, it felt like the team making some trades was more of an inevitability rather than just a possibility. Multiple reports stated the Broncos had received calls from other teams on players like Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, and pass rusher Bradley Chubb.
The newest report says the Broncos of Denver will likely trade Chubb if they lose in Week 8. A loss would drop them to 2-6.
“#Broncos top pass-rusher Bradley Chubb will be traded likely by Tuesday if Denver losses to the #Jaguars on Week 8, according to Mike Florio,” said Dov Kleiman.
“Much like the Von Miller situation last year, Chubb only has half a season remaining on his current contract. Miller was traded by the #Broncos to the #Rams last year in exchange for 2nd and 3rd round picks,” Kleiman adds.

Chubb is a former fifth overall pick and was most recently a Pro Bowler in 2020. He is off to a fantastic start this season with 5.5 sacks in six games.
He is playing on his fifth-year option, so any team who acquires Chubb is likely in line for an extension.
