An unhappy Denver Broncos fan is using humor and creativity as a coping mechanism for the team’s awful play this season.
X (formerly Twitter) user @HFMRide posted a video of the hilarious Broncos Halloween-themed “Watch Party” setup in their front yard. It features a skeleton covering its eyes, another one puking, a sign displaying the Miami Dolphins’ 70-20 win over Denver in Week 3 and several tombstones:
That looks like a fun watch party, alright.
The Broncos lost 19-8 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, dropping them to 1-5 on the season. Denver’s lone victory this season came against a previously 0-3 Chicago Bears team in Week 4. And Chicago simply handed that game to the Broncos by blowing a seemingly insurmountable 21-point lead.
Coming off a disappointing five-win season, the Broncos traded for ex-New Orleans Saints’ head coach Sean Payton with the hope that the offensive guru would find a way to help Russell Wilson regain his star-like form.
But it hasn’t happened. While Wilson has improved his play slightly from last year, the Broncos have been held back by football’s worst scoring defense that’s allowing an average of 33.3 points per contest.

Denver hasn’t reached the postseason since 2015, when they won Super Bowl 50 in Peyton Manning’s final season. Barring a remarkable second-half turnaround, the AFC West club will soon lock down their seventh straight losing season, too.
