A Denver Broncos cornerback is reported to have been arrested over the weekend before being hit with three charges.
Faion Hicks, who’s heading into his second year with the team, is out on bond after falling afoul of the law, with court records showing a third-degree felony charge for carrying a concealed firearm as the most serious of the three filed by police in Hallandale, Florida on Saturday.
Hicks was pulled over by police for failing to obey a stop sign, which accounted for another charge, and has also been accused of driving with an expired license.
No other details pertaining to the arrest have been disclosed but the player had made bond and was out of jail at the time of writing.
Hicks joined the Broncos via the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played in two games last season, with all 30 of his snaps coming on special team plays. The 25-year-old had four starting seasons at Wisconsin before getting drafted.
There’s also nothing on how the arrest might impact his future with the Broncos at this juncture.
