Four teams have reportedly reached out to the Denver Broncos inquiring about star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The fourth-year wideout has been widely mentioned in trade rumors dating back to the offseason. With the Broncos (1-5) well out of the playoff race, GM George Paton certainly looks poised to sell ahead of the Oct. 31 trade deadline.
According to a report from independent reporter MLFootball, four teams have contacted the Broncos about possibly trading for Jeudy. Two of those teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers.
The Broncos picked up the fifth-year option on Jeudy’s rookie deal, keeping him under contract through the 2024 season. But with the playoffs well out of reach, the struggling AFC West club should be open to trading Jeudy and several other big-named veterans.

Denver drafted the Alabama product 15th overall in 2020. After two inconsistent seasons to begin his career, Jeudy showed signs of breaking out in 2022 by recording 67 receptions for 972 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games.
Through his first five games of 2023, the 24-year-old Jeudy has 20 receptions for 222 yards and zero touchdowns.
It definitely looks like Jeudy would benefit from a fresh start, and he would likely emerge as the new No. 1 receiver on a struggling offensive team like the Packers or Panthers. He’d be an ideal trade candidate for several teams, but of course, it remains to be seen if Denver will actually shop its top offensive weapon.
