The Buffalo Bills handed the Denver Broncos a win that saw them improve to 4-5 for the season via a costly miscommunication.
The Bills failed to score 26 or more points for the sixth consecutive game, which marks the worst run since Josh Allen’s rookie season in 2018, as they lost 24-22 courtesy of a late field goal attempt by Wil Lutz.
The Denver kicker initially missed from 41 yards but was handed a second chance from 36 yards because the Bills had an extra man on the field.
“We believe in each other. We believe in what we can do,” Russell Wilson said after the win. “To beat the Chiefs, to beat these guys, it sets a standard of who we should be, who we can be, and who we are going to be.”
The Broncos, however, are now getting called out for cheating as their holder has been accused of using Spider Tack to steady the ball.

Whether or not he used Spider Tack is hardly the reason the Bills. Apart from the 12-man gaffe, Allen also had a poor game as he threw two INTs and lost a fumble.
The Broncos, meanwhile, have won three straight games and four out of six since their 70-20 humbling at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.
