What a shocking Thursday for the Dallas Cowboys. During a turbulent 1st year as a member of the Monday Night football crew, there were rumors that the Cowboys were possibly trying to get Jason Witten to come out of retirement. He didn’t budge.
That all changed when he unexpectedly signed a 1-year, $5 million deal to leave the MNF broadcasting booth and make his triumph return.
As it turns out, it looks like he might not be the only former Cowboys player to come out of retirement.
Upon hearing the news, DeMarcus Ware took to Twitter and teased a possible return to the franchise as well.
Ware completed his final NFL season in Denver with 4.0 sacks and 15 total tackles, and unlike Witten who left on his own terms — Ware had his final season cut short due to injuries.
