We heard an assortment of teams that Tom Brady might be headed to, but nobody has suggested that the future hall of famer head to a Super Bowl contender who just played in the big game in February.
NFL Network’s Deion Sanders thinks it’s in the best interest of all parties involved for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to join the San Francisco 49ers and for the 49ers to trade quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo back to New England.
Yeah, he said that.
“Sign and trade,” Sanders said. “That’s all I’m saying. It makes sense to me. Everybody is happy at the end of the day. At the end of the rainbow, everybody’s happy.”
Brady will be 43 years old at the start of the 2020 season, while Garoppolo will be 28.
The biggest here is that while Brady brings Super Bowl experience, he doesn’t have much time left and it will leave the 49ers searching for another QB of the future when they feel like they have one right now.

“I’m just trying to do business, Rich,” Sanders added. “I’m just trying to make everybody happy. That’s who I am. I’m Sanders Claus.”
Brady, of course, grew up a 49ers fan and this will definitely be a dream come true if it happened. Basically, it’s not going to happen.
