The ongoing discussion around Deion Sanders and the Dallas Cowboys is just heating up.
If the Colorado football team is not already in panic mode, they will be soon after the latest report regarding their head coach and the NFL.
As Deion Sanders continues to be linked to Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys, rumors of him ramped up.
Sanders has reportedly taken a strong interest in the job and would “almost certainly accept” an offer from owner Jerry Jones, per Ed Werder of WFAA, a Dallas-based ABC affiliate.
Werder noted people around the Hall of Famer are “encouraging him to pursue it.”
Jones is also apparently “enamored with the idea.”
Regarding Deion Sanders: I’m being told that he would almost certainly accept if Jerry Jones offers to make him the next #Cowboys head coach, that those around him are encouraging him to pursue it and that Jones is enamored with the idea.

This news comes after Sanders previously spoke about the possibility and said, “To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it’s intriguing,” per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Reports think he might leave Colorado only because his son, Shedeur, is set to enter the NFL in the upcoming draft.
Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter is also expected to be one of the first prospects taken come draft day.
The Dallas Cowboys would have to make massive trades to get either player on the team.
Could Deion Sanders Really Bolt From Colorado?
Deion Sanders is highly interested in the Dallas Cowboys head coaching position.
Sanders just completed his second season with Colorado, one that ended with a loss to BYU in the Alamo Bowl.
The team ended with a 9-4 record, which was the school’s best since the 2016 season.
Colorado is back on the National stage because of Deion, so seeing him leave would be detrimental to everything they have going on.
