The NFL Network’s Top 100 Players list has sparked numerous debates across social media, and some have even taken their anger to new heights.
Keenan Allen being listed at No. 77 got him extremely upset, but he not only took his anger to Twitter, he called out other wide receivers.
“I’m tired of biting my tongue…Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin… ( and the list goes on) ARE NOT a better receiver than me!”
Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both poked fun at Allen’s tweet, but Deion Sanders didn’t see the humor in what Allen did.
“This ain’t the Jungle so we don’t need a king,” Sanders wrote on Instagram. “I love the dog in all y’all but when it comes to calling another dude out that ain’t right.”
Last season, Allen had 104 receptions for 1,199 yards and six touchdowns during a year where Phillip Rivers had one of the worst seasons of his career.
