Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders strongly indicated that he has insider information on where his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, will land in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Shedeur Sanders is among the favorites to go first-overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s the consensus top quarterback prospect in a class that isn’t considered strong for other signal-callers, with teammate and two-way star Travis Hunter also in the running to be the top selection.
During an interview with former NF star Adam “Pacman” Jones, Coach Prime indicated that Shedeur will go to the New York Giants. Deion claims to know that New York will keep the top selection if they win it, and that they’d use it on his son:
“Giants are not going to give up that pick. They’re not going to give up that pick. The Giants are not giving up that pick. I know that for a fact…Shedeur is going to be the No. 1 pick.”

Sounds like he’s okay with the Giants, too. pic.twitter.com/qH0MYcVyjW
Entering Sunday’s action, the Giants and Las Vegas Raiders are tied for the worst record in football at 2-12. Five other teams are 3-11, so the race for the first-overall pick is still wide open with three weeks remaining.

Shedeur Sanders Would Be The Perfect Consolation Prize For Giants
This has been one of the worst seasons in Giants history, if not the worst. But if they earn the top pick and come away with a top QB like Shedeur Sanders, all of the pain and suffering of 2024 will have been totally worth it.
