DeAndre Hopkins remains a free agent following his release from the Arizona Cardinals last month.
The wide receiver is now the highest-profile player on the available market and can sign with any team who wants him on their roster.
Hopkins is visiting teams this week as he searches for a new home, with the Tennessee Titans the latest to host him. The Titans happen to be very wide receiver needy and could use someone with Hopkins’ ability as part of their offense, so they’ve done the right thing by courting him.
And, according to Jordan Schultz, the visit was a very positive one for both sides.
“I would say Titans fans should feel really good,” Schultz said on 102.5 The Game on Monday. “I like the position they’re in.”
Hopkins will also visit the New England Patriots this week and it appears he’s really wanted over there. Some current and former players have already tried recruiting him while it’s reported that quarterback Mac Jones would love to play alongside him next season.

The 31-year-old wideout has outlined the things he wants from the next team he signs, with a top QB a priority. It can’t be said that Jones is one of the best QBs in the league at the moment. As for Tennessee’s options, Ryan Tannehill, Malik Willis, and Will Levis aren’t of the Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, or Lamar Jackson ilk either. But having DeAndre on a roster would immediately make any offense better.
