Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is one of the biggest names being mentioned in trade rumors.
Last month, Jordan Schultz of theScore reported that the Cardinals are going to explore trading Hopkins. The soon-to-be 31-year-old has two years remaining on his contract
Hopkins sent out a short message praising Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes after the latter led his team to the Lombardi Trophy on Saturday.
Maybe it wasn’t his intention, but Hopkins’ tweet led to a plethora of calls from the fans to join the world champions.

The Chiefs made a bold move by trading away top wideout Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins last offseason because of a contract dispute. Kansas City spread the money saved to rebuild their receiving corps in free agency by adding JuJu Smith-Schuster, deep threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
In last year’s draft, the Chiefs selected Skyy Moore in round two. Ahead of the trade deadline, they acquired 2021 first-round pick Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants. Moore and Toney both had a fourth quarter touchdown reception.
Adding Hopkins would take an already potent Kansas City offense to a new level, but of course, it’s going to be difficult to make the dollars work. And even if the Chiefs are interested, there will surely be plenty of bidders for Hopkins.
