An AFC club has emerged as the heavy odds-on favorites to sign free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
It’s been nearly two months since the Arizona Cardinals released the five-time Pro Bowl wideout from his contract. As a result of his release, the Cardinals are taking on a massive $22.6 million dead cap it for 2023.
The 31-year-old has already visited with the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots. But nearly two months after his release from the Cardinals, the superstar wideout surprisingly remains unsigned as training camp draws closer.
The DraftKings sportsbook lists the Titans as the +100 favorites to sign Hopkins, followed by the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at +120.
DraftKings gives New England the third-best odds of landing the perennial Pro Bowler at +275, followed by the Buffalo Bills at +1500. The reigning AFC East champs are said to have interest in Hopkins, but only if the price is right for them.
