Trade rumors involving DeAndre Hopkins continue to swirl this offseason, and he made sure his name kept buzzing with his recent interview.
Hopkins has been absent from the Cardinals’ voluntary organized team activities, which has sparked another wave of trade rumors.
What he hasn’t been absent for are interviews on podcasts.
When asked about signal-callers he admires and would enjoy playing with, the three-time First-Team All-Pro selection named quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, and Patrick Mahomes.
Former NFL WR Brandon Marshall then brought up him playing with Dak Prescott, and although he didn’t give a verbal answer, he could be seen shaking his head fairly quickly.
The Cowboys also have a franchise quarterback in Dak Prescott, but he is coming off a down year where he led the NFL in interceptions and that was done after missing several games with an injury. The Cowboys are confident that he can lead them to a Super Bowl if they put the right ingredients around him, but it does not look like Hopkins wants to be part of that meal.

Last season, the Cowboys lacked adequate wide receiver depth, leaving Lamb to handle the responsibility. The Cowboys would have three high-quality options with Hopkins on board, and they are also anticipating a bounce-back year from Micahel Gallup, who was still suffering from the effects of his recovery from a ruptured ACL last season.
For Hopkins to play alongside many of the teams he mentioned, fans would only see it if they turned on their Playstations and XBoxes, logged into their franchise mode on the Madden NFL game, turned off the salary cap, and added him there.
Hopkins is 30 years old but should still have some productive years left in his tank. However, his contract is an issue.
