DeAndre Hopkins is still waiting to be signed, but he has not made a decision as of yet.
In 2022, NFL wide receivers cashed in on a lucrative market, and teams made aggressive moves to acquire top-tier talent at the position.
The veteran WR likely wants to hold out for the best deal possible after the rebuilding Arizona Cardinals released him back in may.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, that deal will come from one of two teams. The Patriots and Titans are the “favorites” to land the All-Pro pass-catcher’s services. Fowler added: “I’m told he had a GREAT visit with New England.”
Per reports, the Titans and Pats remain the only two teams who have hosted Hopkins for a visit, so it looks like a two-team race.
Hopkins is slightly past his prime as he enters his age 31 term. Over the last two seasons, he has missed 15 contests because of injuries and a six-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

Despite some drop-off in production, he is still the type of player that can be the number one option. Hopkins can become a young quarterback’s most reliable perimeter playmaker for an upstart squad.
