The Arizona Cardinals are shopping wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins. Nothing has materialized yet.
The Cardinals originally got Hopkins from the Houston Texans for a fourth-round pick in exchange for a second-rounder, a fourth-rounder, and running back David Johnson. He will definitely command a lot more now.
In the meantime, Hopkins is trying his best to get teams interested in coming after him, so he is making social moves to get the ball rolling.
DeAndre Hopkins recently hit the follow button on Mac Jones’ Instagram page, which has now caused rumors to come up that he might be wanting to take his talents to the Patriots.
Jones began to follow Hopkins on Instagram earlier in the week, which leads you to believe that the two of them may have been in conversations. It should also be noted that Jones followed tight end Mike Gesicki on Instagram before he signed with the Patriots.
Either the Patriots are talking to the Cardinals behind the scenes or a deal just might be imminent.

This possible move is also eye-brow raising since a potential trade would reunite Hopkins with old Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, who was the mastermind behind trading him in the first place. The two of them did not have a good relationship as noted by Hopkins.
O’Brien has signed up to be the offensive coordinator in New England, which is a position he previously held in the organization before his move to Houston. Maybe time healed all wounds.
We won’t know until draft day. If nothing happens before then, it would appear that Hopkins will play for the Cardinals.
