DeAndre Hopkins has received a contract offer.
Free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was in Nashville this past weekend for a visit with Tennessee Titans coaches and players to see if he would be a good fit for the team in 2023 and beyond.
While Hopkins left Nashville without a deal on Monday, Dianna Russini of ESPN reported earlier this week that Hopkins’ visit with the Titans “went well.”
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk added the Titans did formally make Hopkins a financial offer while he was in Nashville.
“Hopkins visited with the Titans. Sources say the visit went well and the Titans extended an offer,” Florio said on Pro Football Talk alongside Chris Sims. “They’ve done their homework. Barring the guy showing up and pissing everyone off, they were going to give him an offer.”
Tennessee Titans reporter Buck Reising confirmed that report, but the terms of it were not disclosed.

Hopkins officially became an NFL free agent when he was released by the Arizona Cardinals last month.
Aside from the Titans, the New England Patriots also have an interest in signing Hopkins.
Hopkins has received co-signs from New England team leaders like Mac Jones and Matthew Judon, and the Patriots reportedly are optimistic they can add the five-time Pro Bowl selection.
Despite a suspension last year, Hopkins still racked up 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
