DeAndre Hopkins wants to reunite with a former Houston Texans’ teammate.
Almost a year after Hopkins was traded from the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals, the stud wideout wants JJ Watt to make his way to his new team.
“Let’s finish what we started…”
Last week, the Texans and defensive end J.J. Watt mutually agreed to part ways with each other.
Watt shared a video and said he initiated the release with ownership.
“I have sat down with the McNair family and I have asked them for my release,” Watt said. “We have mutually agreed to part ways at this time.”

Multiple players from numerous teams have reached out to Watt about joining their clubs in the aftermath.
In his 10 years in Houston, Watt was named first-team All-Pro five times and won the Walter Peyton Man of the Year award in 2017.
Watt totaled five sacks and 36 solo tackles during the 2020 season.
