DeAndre Hopkins is certainly enjoying every misfortune his former team is going through, and there’s been no shortage of drama surrounding the Houston Texans ever since they traded to the Cardinals last offseason.
That decision as well as the GM and head coach hiring process is all but certain to culminate with the team being forced to trade franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has officially requested the team deal him away.
On Friday night, Hopkins and Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey were guests on NFL’s Pro Bowl Verzuz show and did not hold back on what they thought about the situation.
Hopkins called Watson an ‘ex-Texan,’ while Ramsey openly recruited him to the Rams.
“Y’all know where he’s going to be next year,” Ramsey told Deion Sanders and DeAndre Hopkins. “Come on now. You see the basketball court. We ready to hoop. L.A.”
Watson and Hopkins starred alongside each other for three years until the franchise allowed Bill O’Brien to suddenly trade him before the 2020 NFL Draft.
