The NFL offseason rages on teams continue to figure out what they will be doing behind center if they don’t already have an established quarterback.
The Seattle Seahawks aren’t actively shopping quarterback Russell Wilson and he has yet to demand a trade. Even still, talks surrounding him will continue regardless.
On Monday, NFL.com released an article on spots the Seahawks could trade Wilson and one of them was the Las Vegas Raiders. What’s shocking about that is that the author of this article was David Carr. You know, the brother of Raiders current QB Derek Carr.
Pro Football Talk noted that Carr made a revision to the article after it gained traction.
“…David Carr’s article quietly was revised after the comment was spotted and publicized.
The original version said this: “If I’m one of those four teams, I’m picking up the phone yesterday.” The new version says this: “If I’m a QB-needy team, I’m picking up the phone yesterday.”

Carr finished 2020 with career highs for passing yards (4,103), yards per attempt (7.94), passer rating (101.4) and QBR (71.0). In the end, it did not matter as the Raiders missed the postseason.
