Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy was not at all happy when he showed up at the office the day after buying the company back.
Portnoy took to social media on Tuesday to announce having regained sole ownership of the platform, having acquired it back from Penn Entertainment.
The following day, he visited the New York office and found it mostly empty, which resulted in him flying into a rage and posting a video to Twitter captioned “How brain dead are all my employees,” in which he ripped into them while showing all the empty cubicles.
“These mother F Ers don’t show up, I’m only in the office for a F Ing week!” he’s heard saying in the video.

Portnoy also wrote an entire blog post about finding the office empty.
“I have an honest question. How F Ing dumb are all my idiot employees? I’ve literally owned Barstool again for less than 24 hours, they know I’m in town and literally none of them have showed up at the office today before 10am,” he wrote.
“None of them thought to show up maybe early on day 1 of the new regime. I mean seriously how F Ing dumb are these people? No wonder Penn gave it back to me for pennies on the dollar. I got the dumbest group of morons who ever lived.”
The 46-year-old founded Barstool Sports in 2003. Penn bought a majority stake in the company for $551 million earlier this year but sold it back to Portnoy for reportedly next to nothing.
Penn has since gotten into a partnership with ESPN to launch a new platform called ESPN Bet.
