Davante Adams suffered a pretty ugly shoulder injury during last week’s game, but he was able to fight through it and finish the game during Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
He did not practice on Thursday nor Friday, which sets the stage for what he does during Saturday’s session to be pivotal with regard to his chances of suiting up Monday night against the Packers.
An NFL doctor took to X on Friday and painted a grim picture about the wide receiver that should make Raiders fans feel pretty uneasy.
Despite the injury, the doctor still expects Adams to play against his former team.
If Adams ends up limited or unable to play against the Packers, Tre Tucker and DeAndre Carter would-be candidates to see added Week 5 WR snaps for the Raiders behind Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow. The Raiders could ill afford to not have Adams and lose this game which would drop them three below .500 as they are already on a three-game losing streak as it is.
The Raiders and Broncos are both tied with a 1-3 record in the AFC West.
