Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has fueled more trade speculation with some recent comments.
The 30-year-old is in his second season with the Raiders, but he certainly hasn’t been shy in expressing his frustration with the team. Earlier this week, Adams admitted that he was unhappy with his decreased role in the Vegas offense, via ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez:
“I’m a human being and I have extremely high standards for myself in this offense.
“I’m sure people are thinking, ‘They won the game, why is there an issue?’ I mean, you see why it’s an issue. Y’all should know who I am, know what I’m about at this point … when you’re a player like me, mentally, my benchmark is not wins and losses — it’s greatness. So when I go out there, I expect to be able to have that ability to put that on tape and have an influence on the game. That’s my purpose for being here. I’m not here just to hang out; I came here to win and to do it the right way.”
With Adams trade speculation ramping up again, BetOnline released its updated odds on the All-Pro wideout’s next landing spot if the Raiders end up trading him.
The Super Bowl hopeful Buffalo Bills (4-2) are now the favorites to land the future Hall of Famer at 4/1. The second-best odds are shared by Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions (5-1) at 5/1 and the Tennessee Titans (2-4) at 5/1.
There’s no telling just how much more dangerous the Bills’ offense would be with Adams. They already boast the third-best scoring unit (28.8 points per game) with Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and James Cook all off to tremendous starts.

Of course, if Adams does hit the trade block, there won’t be a shortage of teams interested in his services. Buffalo would have competition for Adams (if they even pursued him in a trade), but his arrival would unquestionably make them the team to beat in the AFC.
In the 2022 offseason, the Green Bay Packers traded Adams to the Raiders in exchange for their first and second-round picks. The Raiders then signed Adams to a lucrative five-year contract extension worth $140 million.
Fast forward a year and a half later, and it’s already looking like Adams and Raiders will divorce in the not-so-distant future. Perhaps as soon as this month.
