Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been vocal about his frustrations with the club here in 2023, and many wonder if it’s only a matter of time until the future Hall of Famer is traded.
Adams’ comments have led to non-stop trade rumors with the Oct. 31 deadline just around the corner. Just last week, the 30-year-old expressed unhappiness with his role in the offense, stating that he wasn’t there “just to hang out.”
At this rate, it feels like Adams and the Raiders are better off moving on as soon as possible. The Raiders are 3-4 entering their Week 8 contest with the Detroit Lions, and they look nothing like a playoff contender in a loaded AFC.
Out of all the Super Bowl hopefuls in the AFC, the Buffalo Bills make the most sense for the future Hall of Famer. The Bills have the incentive to go all-in for a player of Adams’ caliber, with their Super Bowl window shrinking rapidly as core players like Von Miller, Stefon Diggs, Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde continue to age.
Buffalo could offer Vegas fellow wideout Gabe Davis plus their 2024 first and 2025 third-round pick for Adams, who’s signed through the 2026 season.

Adams and Diggs are both arguably top five receivers in the game right now. Adding Adams to a consistent top-five offense could be the final piece needed to complete the Bills’ championship puzzle.
For the Raiders, they’d be getting a potential 1,000-yard in Davis and two early-round picks to help their retooling period. Adams would get the chance to compete for multiple Super Bowls on an AFC powerhouse. It’s a win-win scenario for everybody.
