Davante Adams is nearing his breaking point.
Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is closer to the end of his NFL career than the beginning and he is ready to win and play for Super Bowls.
After the team lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, Adams sounded like a man who wanted off the team.
“I don’t act like it’s all crazy – it’s Week 3 – but I don’t got time to wait around,” Adams said following the Raiders’ 23-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. “It’s not a personal thing – I mean, it is a personal thing – but it ain’t just about me.”
He added: “We’re not doing things the right way to establish a winning culture early in the season.”
The Raiders fell to 1-2 after losing their home opener, which came a week after they got drug by the Buffalo Bills by a score of 38-10. Las Vegas’ offense failed to score more than 20 points for the third time in three weeks and Adams remains the lone bright spot as caught 13 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers.

Adams forced a trade to the Raiders last offseason because he wanted to prove he could still be a superstar without Aaron Rodgers.
Adams starred in his first season with the Raiders in 2022, racking up 100 catches for 1,516 yards and an NFL-high 14 touchdowns.
He said in May that he was happy to be with the Raiders.
“I’m a Raider and I’m excited to be here,” he said. “I love my head coach, and I love the general manager. … I have no reason to lie. One thing I don’t do is BS.”
However, constant losing can change feelings.
The Raiders will go back on the road to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.
