When six-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams forced the Green Bay Packers to trade him to the Las Vegas Raiders over the offseason, there were huge expectations that the team would be taking the next step as the WR and his Derek Carr would be reforming their connection from college.
However, there are some games where Carr just hasn’t gotten the ball to Adams and he wasn’t producing with the same consistency we’ve grown accustomed to, and he was nearly nonexistent once again as he registered just two catches for 15 yards in the Raiders’ 13-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night.
Carr had an abysmal showing, throwing for 174 yards, a touchdown, and three interceptions on 16-of-30 passing.
After the game, Adams made two notable likes that had social media talking. His first one was of him liking a tweet that called out the Raiders for not throwing to him while noting how long he played in bad weather when he was a member of the Packers.
The second tweet was of his former team making plays in their win over the Miami Dolphins.

He also liked an Instagram post after they won. It seems he might want to go back home because the grass is clearly not greener on the other side.
The Adams to Raiders trade is one of those where both Las Vegas and Green Bay did not benefit at all. Both teams will likely miss the postseason. Things got a little harder for the Raiders after they decided to bench Derek Carr for the remainder of the season.
Saturday’s outing marks Adams’ third straight game without a touchdown and with less than 100 yards, 10 targets, or five catches.
The Raiders will return to action on New Year’s Day against the San Francisco 49ers.
