New York Jets superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has fueled trade speculation with some interesting social media activity.
It remains to be seen if new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey will want to keep the current core intact. If they move on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers specifically, don’t be surprised if Davante Adams gets shopped as well.
Well, Adams has fans buzzing after dropping a fascinating hint about which team he might get traded to. On his Instagram story, Adams revealed that he was wearing a nice pair of green and yellow shows — the same colors as his old team, the Green Bay Packers:

Davante Adams played on the Packers from 2014 to 2021, forming a dynamic duo with the aforementioned Aaron Rodgers. The future Hall of Famer was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2022 offseason, but he would reunite with Rodgers in New York two years later.
The Raiders and Jets never came close to playoff contention with Adams. Ironically, the Packers re-emerged as a Super Bowl contender in year one of the post-Rodgers era in 2023, with Jordan Love emerging as the new franchise star.

Adams will likely stay with the Jets if Rodgers returns. If the four-time MVP is traded or released, however, then it only makes sense for a rebuilding Jets team to trade the 32-year-old wideout as well.
