Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams certainly looks a lot more motivated and energetic than the visibly dejected and frustrated player we saw on Monday night.
Adams made headlines on Monday night when he slammed his helmet in frustration during the fourth quarter of the Raiders’ 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed a wide open Adams for a touchdown, as the star wideout finished the night with only one catch for 11 yards.
The Raiders’ latest lost prompted owner Mark Davis to fire general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels. Champ Kelly was named interim GM, with linebackers coach Antonio Pierce taking over as the interim HC.
In a new video posted by Logan Reever of 8 News Now, you’ll see a much more excited and energetic Adams enjoying mini basketball in the locker room.

Adams won’t outright admit it publicly, but McDaniels’ departure can only benefit a Vegas offense that is somehow near the bottom of the league in every major category. This is despite the presences of Adams, reigning rushing champion Josh Jacobs and other standout receivers Hunter Renfrow and Jakobi Meyers.
Davis obviously hopes that the latest changes will help the Raiders live up to their potential on offense. Pierce has already made one drastic change, naming rookie Aidan O’Connell the starter for Sunday’s game against the new York Giants.
