Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams tried his best to maintain his composure following the team’s loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
The Raiders fell 26-14 to the Lions at Ford Field, as the offense failed to find any rhythm with Jimmy Garoppolo. Incredibly, star wide receiver Davante Adams finished with just one reception for 11 yards.
At one point late in the fourth quarter, Adams could be seen yelling and throwing his helmet on the sideline after Jimmy G missed him on a couple of wide open deep balls.
After the game, the superstar wideout spoke about his frustration.
“Honestly, I don’t know what to say at this moment,” Adams said. “I truly don’t.. I wish I had the words to say something that’s not going to get blown up in the media and taken out of context…I truly just don’t know.”

A year ago, Adams finished with 1,516 yards, a Raiders single-season record. But through the Raiders’ first eight games, he has just 47 receptions for 539 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
Monday night marked Adams’ fifth straight game without a touchdown.
