Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams had a surprise admission about his thoughts on the team as trade rumors surrounding the 30-year-old continue to swirl.
Adams has voiced his frustration with the Raiders on several instances this season, recently stating that he isn’t there “just to hang out”.
But during an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” (h/t Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk), Adams told the popular radio host that he’s “happy” to be a Raider:
“I am happy to be a Raider, 100 percent. This was my choice and this is something that I’m standing by, I want to continue to work at, to make it what it’s supposed to be. I’m not happy at every moment with the way things go, but I’m definitely proud to wear this uniform….
No regrets at the end of the day. If we lost every game I wouldn’t say I regret my decision because in life you drive yourself crazy if you live that way…I’m not looking for a new home.”
Adams has been quiet for his standards over the Raiders’ last four games. Ever since his impressive 172-yard, two-TD outing against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3, Adams hasn’t found the end zone and has been held to under 80 yards in four consecutive weeks.

The Raiders looked like they were potentially turning a corner following back-to-back home wins in Weeks 5 and 6, only to lose to undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent and the Chicago Bears in his first career start last week.
At 3-4, the Raiders certainly don’t like a threat to compete for a playoff spot in the AFC. Trading Adams and star running back Josh Jacobs (a pending free agent) would signal a retooling period in Sin City, but there aren’t any indicators that GM Dave Ziegler is actively shopping either talent.
Adams and the Raiders will try to get back to .500 when they visit the Detroit Lions on Monday night at Ford Field.
