Darren Waller has opened up on his relationship with WNBA star Kelsey Plum following suggestions they might be headed toward a split.
The New York Giants tight end sparked some speculation when he took to TikTok to post a video of himself lip-syncing and dancing to a remixed breakup song.
He captioned the since-deleted video: “Stay strong kings!!! 🤣 #fyp #explore #men #heartbroken #music #vibes.”
Many were of the view that Waller and Plum were nearing a divorce as he hinted that she might be done with him, though they should have figured he was playing around given how comical the whole thing appeared.
He has since admitted as much to TMZ, insisting he was just being a goofball when he sampled The Delfonics’ “Think it Over” and was surprised at the way it was interpreted.
Waller and Plum are nearing a year of marriage, having tied the knot last March. It appears all is well with their union.
