Before he announced his retirement, former New York Giants tight end Darren Waller dropped a new song titled Who Knew (Her Perspective) and a video to go along with it that seemed to be targeted towards Kelsey Plum.
Waller dropped the new song and music video following his divorce from Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum.
In his new song, Darren Waller sings about a relationship that did not work out.
“I thought our love was real. Who knew that love could kill?”
“F— what your plans are,” Waller sings. “Go ahead and call off. Tired of your day job. We can go on that dirt road like some kids. We can go play.”
Almost two months later, Waller is now breaking his silence about the song and video.

In his recent appearance on “The Rush with Maxx Crosby” podcast, Waller discussed his latest musical video, entitled, Who Knew [Her Perspective].
Darren Waller explained he was aiming to present himself genuinely and honestly, sharing everything he was experiencing at that moment.
He went on to say: “I was just trying to put myself out there like in an authentic way this is the s**t I’m really going through,” stated Waller. “If I’m going to put something out there that’s authentic to my life in that moment. That was s—t that I was thinking, that was s—t that I was feeling, and put it out there.”
Waller and Plum got married in March 2023 last year, and in just over a year, things would go entirely wrong as they would file for divorce.
Neither one has stated what happened that led to such a short marriage.
