JuJu Smith-Schuster needs to take a break this offseason from trolling and stop provoking the Philadelphia Eagles.
Earlier this week, the Kansas City Chiefs WR shared a TikTok skit mocking several Philadelphia Eagles, nearly three weeks removed from the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVII. AJ Brown sent him a message on Instagram threatening to fight him, but he wasn’t the only one on the team with something to say.
On Wednesday, All-Pro cornerback Darius Slay responded, calling the wide receiver “lame” in a tweet. On Thursday, Slay continued by calling Smith-Schuster’s generation a “little weird.”
He took major offense to the skit focusing on James Bradberry, who got called for holding late in the fourth quarter.
“Ya’ll trolling. It rubbed me the wrong way since y’all wanna be out here clowning and stuff, All-Pro JB, one of the best in the game,” Slay said, via The Volume. “I honestly hold every play. Like y’all offensive guys push off every play.”
Slay added that besides the Patrick Mahomes-to-Travis Kelce connection, he and the Eagles’ defense had a “field day” with the Chiefs’ passing attack.

“We were the number on pass defense for a reason,” Slay said. “And you know, to come out like that, talking crazy? You need to fix that. That ain’t called for, man. Y’all be taking it to a whole new level right now.”
For JuJu, he had seven catches for 53 yards in the biggest game of the year. His biggest moment came when he was held by Bradberry late in the game that essentially won the Super Bowl for the Chiefs.
Slay offered one more piece of advice for Smith-Schuster.
“What JuJu need to be doing is really just be worrying about his little TikTok dances and keep it going and stop trying to play like that,” Slay said. “You better play like that on TikTok.”
