Darius Slay wants OUT!
There had been reports of the Detroit Lions shopping the veteran cornerback this offseason, but no deal has presented itself as of yet.
In the meantime, Detroit signed former Falcons CB Desmond Trufant to a contract on Wednesday.
Slay saw it and not only congratulated him, but hoped it would speed his trade process up a bit faster.
“Congrats to my guy!!!! Hope that speeds up my trade process!!”
Slay skipped mandatory mini-camp last year over being unhappy with his current contract, so the writing was on the wall. He not only lost workout bonuses but was fined as well.
