Odell Beckham Jr. won’t be playing on the Dallas Cowboys after the team traded for WR Brandin Cooks.
Another that has not been on anybody’s radar is not being mentioned.
During ESPN’s Get Up, NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky suggested that the Steelers should go out and sign Odell.
“I look at the AFC, I say you gotta add firepower, or people to slow down firepower because of the Chiefs. This automatically does that for Pittsburgh,” Orlovsky said. “One, organizational structure, and the head coach knows what he’s doing. There’s a standard, a culture, an everyday expectation he’s gonna walk right into. Two, cheap quarterback with Kenny Pickett right now, you’re trying to build around that because he is cheap and you’re trying to get him to play as well as possible.
“And just imagine this offense if you’re a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Najee Harris at tailback, who is still an awesome player. Then you got George Pickens who’s a burgeoning star at that position. Diontae Johnson and Pat Freiermuth at tight end. And you add Odell? Now we’re talking about an offense that’s got weapons and actual firepower to go chase down a Cincinnati Bengals, could go chase down a Kansas City Chiefs football team. So there’s a lot of teams that we could say Odell’s gonna be a good addition.”
Reports claim Beckham Jr. is looking for $15-20 million per season on his deal. However, he took to Twitter and disputed that wasn’t true. He added that him being offered $4 million by a mystery team is not enough.

The Steelers have dipped their toes into splash signings this offseason, inking Isaac Seumalo and Patrick Peterson to deals. The team has reportedly worked with Leighton Vander Esch as well.
The Steelers did not attend Beckham Jr.’s workout in Arizona, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have tape of it.
Odell hasn’t been on an NFL field since he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI in February 2022. That said, he still remains an incredibly talented WR who could fit well on any roster that he is on.
