The Super Bowl presents the biggest opportunity for advertisers every year as the game pulls more eyes in front of television sets than any other American event.
The game is scheduled to kick off on February 11, but some ads have already hit the interwebs in a bid to gain a bit of traction, and this Michelob Ultra bit might be the best one we’ve seen so far.
The commercial, which can be seen below, shows Inter Miami and Argentina star Lionel Messi working his magic with a soccer ball on a populated beach while waiting for a beer. The World Cup winner dribbles through multiple challengers, including a dog, while Jason Sudeikis watches on and boasts of their friendship.
At one point, Messi kicks the ball onto a boat in which NFL legend Dan Marino is standing. The former Dolphins quarterback launches it back to the shore from quite a distance before Messi assists a shot into a hanging hammock then runs back to get his beer.
